This T-shirt features a design inspired by the Sanskrit phrase “Form is Emptiness” from the Heart Sutra, as chanted by a high monk of a historic Japanese temple.
The phrase “Shiki soku ze kū” (色即是空) appears in the Buddhist scripture Heart Sutra and expresses the idea that all things in this world are transient and ultimately empty of inherent existence.
