梵字の「タラ」は、矜羯羅童子(こんがらどうじ)を象徴する神聖な文字です。矜羯羅童子は、不動明王に仕える二人の童子のひとりで、サンスクリット語のキンカラ(Kiṃkara)に由来します。合掌した穏やかな姿で、素直さと従順、そして慈悲の心を表すとされています。

This T-shirt is designed based on Siddham script written by a high-ranking Japanese Buddhist monk.

The Siddham character “Tara-” is a sacred letter that symbolizes Kongara Dōji (Kiṃkara). He is one of the two attendants of Fudō Myōō, the Immovable Wisdom King, and his name derives from the Sanskrit “Kiṃkara.” Depicted with a gentle expression and palms pressed together, he represents obedience, humility, and compassion.
